It cost the Charlotte Bobcats about $50K to own the domain name www.bobcats.com. For the last ten years, it had belonged to a Montana-based Bobcat breeder (gangsta!).

The bobcats had a website, www.bobcatsbasketball.com. The woman that owned the domain had rights to it. The bobcats simply backed off. Watch out for those Bobats. Its playoff time in the East.
