That is the only German guy calling basketball games that you can actually listen to, with all the others you fall asleep quite fast.
But that guy (Frank Buschmann is his name) is doing only the games of the German National Team over the summer, where he is really into it.
The rest of the season (NBA & German league) we have to deal with all those other boring announcers…

not noted was how dirk missed three crucial free throws at the end of the game. afterwards, he talked about how weak he is and that he is grateful the other team gave him what they did.

Frank Buschmann is da bomb. Two years ago as Dirk and co beat spain in the semifinals of Euro 05, the guy lost it on live TV. Dirk kinda blasted shot after shot over Garbajosa et all, and Frank just SCREAMED. Granted, Dirk was on a whole new “clutch” thing during that Tournament, but Buschmann is by far the best there is for commenting B-Ball in German.
