That article doesn’t really tell us much more than we already know.

Ryan Jones says:
Welcome to the Internets, Keith.

white hot eboy says:
The two things that need to put out there are 1) what charges are going to be brought down on Don-a-gie and 2) who else in the public eye might be brought up on charges. His plea hearing is today, no?

H to the izzo says:
so….

white hot eboy says:
What’s up Izzo, Keith. Ryan, you were missed yesterday.

FLUD says:
For a minute I thought this was gonna be Donaghy/Amechi story..

Aug.15 at 10:05 am

H to the izzo says:
Eboy:I’m actually happy I missed the last part of that “discussion” yesterday

O/U on his sentence is 23.5 months

white hot eboy says:
Izzo, at least if you were around the conversation would have continued to be amusing and witty.

H to the izzo says:
Maybe, but with the appearance of jukai it was going downhill regardless.Although I made a legitimite arguement for disliking Kobe that even Bodie accepted, that was the proudest moment of my life.

Keith says:
Personally, and I know this isn’t joining in the spirit of things, but I kinda hope no-one else is involved in the betting scandal. I’m not sure the NBA can take much more Pimpery (Andre), gambling (Tim Donagie) or bigotry (Timmy Hardaway).

white hot eboy says:
Izzo, let’s just go with the other majority of the SLAM fam and love Kobe. We’ll leave Ryan alone on the “Hate 8″ island. He can be like the Predator, and blend in with trees and his surroundings and pick of the “Kobe Crushers” at his choosing.

Aug.15 at 10:15 am

white hot eboy says:
Keith, you are absolutley right.

Aug.15 at 10:19 am

H to the izzo says:
Every sport has its scandals its just in other sports for some reason they’re not scrutinised as much as they are in the NBA.
And Eboy:My position on Kobe is I love him on the court(mostly) but thats it.I’ll watch the game but not buy the jersey

Aug.15 at 10:24 am

Keith says:
White hot: Getting a personal response from you is almost as pleasurable as getting a response from any of the SLAM guys. You guys are one and the same in my eyes.

white hot eboy says:
Izzo, I hold hope that Kobe will be the “veteran” catalyst that can lead USA Basketball back to the top of the world in ‘08. If he, D-Wade, Lebron, Melo, Oden, CP3 and the rest of the team can pull that off with Kobe as the catalyst, I will give him proper respect. And yeah, his game is nice, it’s just his on-court attitude at times that annoy’s me. Biggest example: how he quit on the team 2 years ago against the Suns in their final game. That’s unforgivable. And something MJ never did. Ever.

Keith says:
…except for the Heat bias…

Aug.15 at 10:27 am

white hot eboy says:
Keith, I’m pretty sure you’re being sarcastic, so thanks for the false sense of importance. But lately, I have noticed your posts more than before and you pretty much are a top level poster here in content and knowledge. Even better than Izzo.

Aug.15 at 10:28 am

Rasheedionics says:
Latest poll shows that only 15% of people think this is an isolates incident while 85% of people think that this is just a tip of the iceberg. Wow.

Aug.15 at 10:28 am

Keith says:
I haven’t seen an athlete divide opinion as much as Kobe does for a long time. You have to respect his extreme dedication to the sport whilst at the same time disliking his need to be the centre of attention.

H to the izzo says:
I just died a little inside Eboy.

Aug.15 at 10:30 am

white hot eboy says:
Sorry Izzo, you know where down like the Heat’s chances at a title. See Keith, I can be self-deprecating.

Aug.15 at 10:30 am

Keith says:
My comment was half sarcasm and half truth. You’re on here a lot and as much as I have tried to ignore your ‘every other post’ comments, I can’t. And they’re not ridiculous insults either. They’re sensible psost that are what the ‘comments’ section should be for.

Aug.15 at 10:31 am

Adrian says:
Ahh sh*t, I was just getting used to NOT hearing this loser’s name anymore…

Aug.15 at 10:31 am

Keith says:
Can’t you feel the love….

Aug.15 at 10:33 am

H to the izzo says:
Eboy:Who else takes your insults with such open arms? Its almost like I like it

Aug.15 at 10:33 am

white hot eboy says:
Izzo, wasn’t it me who showed concern for you earlier in the week when I thought you were kidnapped by the IRA? I love you in a non-drunk, Irish Eyes Are Smiling serenading till the sun rises kind of way. You’re a top guy here. Like a general or something.

Aug.15 at 10:37 am

white hot eboy says:
Guys, the reason I’ve been so “busy” here is because my office just went from two partners to four and our caseload has been spread out to where I have lots of “free” time to kill. And since this is the only place I do comment, I apologize to everyone who hates me. Except Senor’ Jones.

Aug.15 at 10:37 am

H to the izzo says:
What you failed to recognize was that that national army turned terrorist group no longer exists.

Aug.15 at 10:37 am

Adrian says:
Ok, seeing as it’s a slow news day, I’ve got a question (which came up as I watched one after another retired player planning on coming back): If you could pick 1 player to come back into the game, assuming they were at their peak, who would you choose? Retired, dead, whatever…

Aug.15 at 10:40 am

Hisham says:
funny how nobody ever seems to stick to the subject for longer than 1 post

Aug.15 at 10:40 am

H to the izzo says:
Adrian:I’d like to see what Tim Thomas would be like had he met his full potential

Aug.15 at 10:41 am

H to the izzo says:
Also should Donaghy be made make a public apology? Not that it would matter..

Aug.15 at 10:42 am

white hot eboy says:
MJ would be too easy. So would Larry, Magic and Manute Bol. So I will go with the deceased player category and chooses Drazen Petrovic. That dude was a baller. And he didn’t have a chance to finish his career.

Aug.15 at 10:44 am

white hot eboy says:
Hisham, if a the SLAM posters were clinically diagnosed, 99% of us would have to have ADD.

Aug.15 at 10:46 am

Hisham says:
oscar robertson! i wonder if he could average triple doubles in this NBA era.. those stats of his make it seem like he was playing in the little leagues

Aug.15 at 10:48 am

Hisham says:
thats what we’re all suffering from.. HEAVY FEVERS

Aug.15 at 10:56 am

Hisham says:
and e-boy, while you try to wake up the dead, try len bias!! it’s kind of unsatisfying to not be able to talk about him as a guy who’s dominated the nba the last 15 years, but instead as the start of the celtics era of horribleness.. Very sad story, to this day

Aug.15 at 11:02 am

white hot eboy says:
Hisham, I’m with you on Bias.

Aug.15 at 11:10 am

Mo Charlo says:
As a white male, I am offended at the way the media and general population rushed to assume Donaghy’s guilt.

Aug.15 at 11:12 am

Well played,Mo
