THis is incredible. One mention of Kobe, and two of his staunchset supporters show up within moments of each other? Do you guys have a 24 alert on your computers? And Bodie, I’ll give your boy a little credit. His defense was really nice on the ball last night. But two things troubled me. If he plays like that all ten games, I think he may be burned out a little and his overplaying got him into foul trouble WAY too early. Plus Venesula is horrible. And while they should take the tournament easily, if there is a close game (and I think there will be more than one)his silly fouls 25 feet from the basket could bite him in the ass.

Thought they should have kept Durant on the team.
Liked Kobe’s D, but worry about his ability to sustain that, and then be healthy and rested for the Lakers.
Carmelo is a beast, and couldn’t get any calls. His first step is so quick, especially for his size.
Amare did not look good, but Dwight is just a man among boys, even without actual post moves or shooting touch.
Two potential areas of weakness:
1. Lack of a big man with actual low post moves and the ability to hit the open man, and 2. Lack of a small, quick, and young point guard. I think I read that Aaron Brooks did well in one of the scrimmages - one of these teams has to have a point of his caliber, and Kobe can’t guard one of those guys all game and then also play well on offense.
