I think this article clearly shows why Rick Carlise, although a good NBA had coach, doesn’t have the capability to put together a championship season. Anyone who thinks that Reggie Miller can come back and produce at a high level is either a drunkard or a simpleton. And both of those apply to Rick’s physical appearance at times while on the Pacers bench.

or a “head” coach if you’d like.

Izzo, basically every player who retired in the last 5 years is attempting to make a comeback. Woo.

Izzo, I thought you were kidnapped by the IRA. Besides the “old man” movement, Lang discovered that there is a new worlds largest man, standing 8′ 6″ and Ryan Jones was identified as a countrified lion. And, oh yeah, on Friday there was a huge international office “waterball” contest that involved incredibly difficult shots being made into wter cups and crumpled up paper balls bouncing off Latin womens asses. Read Sam’s Friday column for that spectacle. All in all, another normal week in the SLAMonline world. Good to have you back, bro.

Oh, and Max Airington/Myles Brown posted his first piece and rocked your screen names lyrics with his own twist. Pretty cool.

Izzo, sounds like you were living the life of a sheep shearer more than a man on holiday. I’m suprised you didn’t go into withdrawls from not having your daily SLAM fix.

I think Reggie Miller could still contribute. His body fat is probably still at .000000007 percent.

whatever happened to Miller’s “I’d never sign with a team just to chase a ring” song and dance? I’m just sayin…

RedRum says:
I get that it is a bit overstretched for miller to come back at 42, but think about it: is he physicaly in 42 than Steve Kerr was in all his carreer? I think not. I can see him being a serious defensive liability, since he would need to chase fast young guards (unless they play zone when he is in), but in the offense there is no reason why he should not be able to spot up and knock down 3-4 treys per night. no?

Aug.13 at 7:54 pm

RedRum says:
erm… I meant is he less physicaly able than kerr… its 1pm here in the UK…

This really is silly. Barkley should knock some sense into Miller.

RedRum says:
if Barkley knocks Miller the only thing left will be sense…
