International Hoops comes to video games

Finally, EA Sports has added eight national teams to NBA Live, starting with Live 08. We’re hoping there’s a Dream Team throwback squad in there.

I think it’s a good addition,as long as there is the return of the decades’allstars aswell. It will be interesting to see who makes the USA team, ultimately it has to include Shaq,Duncan,Garnett,Bryant and Kidd in the starting five as they are the best Americans at those positions who are active. Those players along with A.Stoudamire,T.Mcgrady,Wade,L.James,C.Anthony, A.Iverson,D.Howard… would have to give the other internationals a 40 point thumping any time.Hopefully Australia will be there soon!A.Bogut is our only NBA identity but some of the players in our national league…well they’re improving.Live 08 better be good

You’re right AJ$. The perfect point guard for an American Team full of ball hogs who can score, that desperately need a person who can decide who gets to score, is a ball hog who can score. AI is perfect.

such an awesome new element to b-ball games. but we know ea and live are gonna f*ck it all up again. how their games can get crappier as the systems get better is really quite impressive.
