Don Nelson and the Warriors Are Talking…
… About a contract extension.
Representatives for the team and Nelson met Tuesday to discuss revamping the coach’s contract, a person with knowledge of the discussions said, and signs are good for the return of the 67-year-old coach, who was obviously worn down by the end of last season.
Yes, not being allowed to drink heavily in the postgame news conference can be quite exhausting.

If they renegotiate Nellie’s deal, Baron Davis should hold out for a better deal himself. I’m most of the way serious. F*ck double standards.

Give the man his Bud Light money. If for no other reason that he helped turn Mike Dunleavy into Stephen Jackson, which essentially qualifies him for sainthood.

The differenc between Nellie and Baron is that Nlelie is massivley underpaid.. Baron is massivley overpaid.. Also, Nellie would have never signed that contract if he had to stick to it. He came back to help Mullin out.. thye had a great season and revitalized the franchise.. Nellie has righted Mullin’s ship in every way.. But his job is really done.. I think he should go to a team where he can coach for a championship if possible.
