DWADE says:

Captain America says:
Com’on Kobe was unselfish last season with the Lakers, a team that consisted of Kobe and mostly D-levels. Melo does have skills and he is adding maturity. His potential is sky-high.

Glen says:
With LeBron, Kobe, and Melo…who’s gonna start?
They can all play the 2 or 3, but that leaves one to few positions…
Unless you start Melo at PF….

Jesus Shuttlesworth says:
melo plays alot of 4 in international ball. whats funny is there would be no usa hoops crisis if in 04 larry brown would have played melo more minutes instead of richard jefferson, i have fond memories of rj building houses in every game
Aug.16 at 4:21 pm
jay says:
i refuse to believe Rubens.
Aug.16 at 4:23 pm
Jesus Shuttlesworth says:
well, kobe did play teamball in the first round of 06, except for the last game, where he didnt play basketball, he was actually playing tag with luke walton, most people dont know that

AI says:
melo puts up numbers but can’t take his team to the 2nd round

Reggie Evans says:
Melo led the team to the Bronze Medal.
Aug.16 at 6:04 pm
DWADE says:
Melo hasnt done crap look at the talent on that team and answer me how in the hell they havent gotten past the first round
Aug.16 at 6:32 pm
Sebastian Pruiti says:
It seems to me that DWADE is a little biased. I don’t know, its just me.
Aug.16 at 6:43 pm
DWADE says:
Melo has done good during the reg season but to me he just doesnt seem like a clutch player
Aug.16 at 6:43 pm
Jesus Shuttlesworth says:
actually reggie, larry brown led the team to the bronze medal. they practiced with nba balls, and the rotation was horrible
Aug.16 at 6:46 pm
DWADE says:
by the way i like the youtube clip Pruiti
Aug.16 at 6:53 pm
Reggie Evans says:
The rotation on the shots was horrible. Yes Larry Brown did lead the team to the Bronze Medal … and Dwade, and LeBronze, and Melo …
Aug.16 at 6:55 pm
DWADE says:
thats right i did lead the team to the bronze thanks for the reminder
Aug.16 at 6:55 pm
Jesus Shuttlesworth says:
im talking about the substition rotation. larry brown was in control of the minutes and therefore had much more control of the games than the players, melo should have played more, and we would have won
Aug.16 at 6:57 pm
Reggie Evans says:
Melo played plenty. I’ll have to look it up.
Aug.16 at 6:58 pm
Reggie Evans says:
Also, I was referring to last year’s FIBAs, which was led by Coach K, not Larry Brown
Aug.16 at 6:59 pm
Jesus Shuttlesworth says:
no he didnt, dwade played alot but larry only let him bring the ball upcourt
Aug.16 at 7:04 pm
Reggie Evans says:
The only game in which the USA lost in the FIBAS was to Greece. In that game, Lebron played 30 min, Dwade played 25 min, and Melo played 32 min.
Aug.16 at 7:04 pm
DWADE says:
Wade should have i guess the sparkle off of his newly acquired ring was blinding him where as Melo didnt have to worry about that
Aug.16 at 7:21 pm
Adrian says:
But Melo had to deal with taking out snitches…wait, I never knew Melo played Quidditch…?
Aug.16 at 7:24 pm
DWADE says:
of course he does and he also plays profesional dodgeball wich is pretty strange considering how freakishly tall he is
Aug.16 at 8:52 pm
Jukai says:
DWADE, the reason Wade didn’t play much was because he hurt his hand in one of the previous game. If you had to blame ANYONE for that freakish loss against Greece, I’d put a bunch of it on Wade. He blew two or three open dunks, including one where Lebron had gotten the ball to him beautifully and USA was slowly evening the score. Wade two handed it and the ball hit the rim and was sent flying to half court, swinging the momentum back to Greece. I’m certainly not blaming Wade for having an injured wrist, but I think 25 minutes was maybe even a little too much playing time for him.

Ben Osborne says:
Regardless of reasons, Larry Brown’s rotation in ‘04 was a mess. Remember how much Steph played??
Aug.16 at 11:49 pm
