Man, anybody who says KG was soft for what happened with Peeler is lame. When Peeler escalated it with his punches, KG actually threw up his hands and was ready to retaliate, and then stopped when he realized what that would mean. I still don’t understand how that made him soft. He wasn’t afraid to fight, he realized it was stupid to fight. Yeah, the two of them threw some elbows at each other, but KG realized throwing punches meant the team would lose him and probably lose the series. Ain’t nothing sweet about that.

You boys are rolling early, huh? And Ryan, I heard about that bridge this morning. Pretty devastating to be sure. I was just at the start of the bridge in Oakland when the earthquake hit in 1990, during the world series. That sh*t was no joke. I felt so lucky to have been on the other side. I can only imagine what the families of the missing are going through. My thoughts are with those folks.
