You can have 2 different stances on this (as a bball fan): of course at first you’re upset, can’t help but feel ofended and should express your anger since the integrity of the sport can’t be jeopardized in such a way. On the other hand you just know that (obviously) Donaghy won’t be officiating this coming season so maybe we should just put all of this behind us.

Seriously, 800 is a REALLY bad SAT score. Like learning disability bad. This article shows him to be a con artist, basically his whole life. Also, why would the NBA hire a guy with all these skeletons in his closet? Just because some other officials from the same highschool gave him a recommendation? The NBA got burned here, but in some ways its their own fault for not doing their due dilligence. I hadnt heard about Donaghy punching Crawford, who I have my doubts about as well. That time DC gave Tim his 2nd tech while he was laughing on the bench was the most unbelieveably self absorbed act of officiating i’ve evr seen in ANY sport.
