The Suns let one go.
It’s Friday. It’s been raining out and people seem to have given up on doing work at the end of the week. I’m a few hours away from publicly humiliating a good friend of mine who is working as a demonstrator for Guitar Hero II, which means 12 year olds are walking up to him and doing stuff like this. Let’s do W.I.N.N.E.R.S. now.
LAKERS: As well as Lamar Odom played, and as competent as a viable NBA center Kwame Brown was, it’s got to be Kobe.
UTAH: Carlos Boozer had 22 and 12, which means he was responsible for something like 50% of the scoring in the Houston-Utah game.
DETROIT: Take your pick. I’ll say Tayshaun Prince with 23-7-5. The Magic’s only chance to win a game is if Turkoglu and/or Grant Hill does something to give Dwight Howard help. They did not, and some of the credit for that goes to Tayshaun’s defensive efforts.
Lots of playoff ball to look forward to over the weekend, starting with Miami’s must-win tonight. Get ready for some Dwyane Wade free throws. And yes, I am fully aware that his body will not be able to take the kind of beating he’s used to. Keep that wheelchair at the end of the bench just in case.
I’ll leave you on a positive note. Jack Black makes people laugh.

Hey Sam, maybe the Magic should pick random seat numbers, Idol style, to get someone from the crowd to help Dwight, maybe then we could fain interest in this series

Sam could you possibly be any righter[i know its not a word but who cares] abt dwyane wade? the parade to the FT line, followin` by fall 7 times get up 8 on a wheelchair stuff, thts sooo played out [sayin` played out is played out too, but whteverr]i jus hope Bulls take the life out of heat & i hope they wear there blacks, those are tight.. & abt Dwight, i think he should watch Amare`s tapes, take a few points on the low post pull up J`s frm mare.

amare didn’t have that lil jumper 2 years ago. dwight will inevitably develop that skill or he’ll be another shaq (all body, little skill) for about 5 more years

Ok, I can’t find a message board where this statement is appropriate but . . . . DWade SUCKS! He literally cost the Heat this entire series. I watched the third and fourth quarter of the game, and he had like 5 turnovers in crunch time. If he’s going to take his game to the next level, he needs something I call a jump-shot. Slashing his way through a good, scrappy defense like the bulls is impossible. And he also disobeyed another thing that everybody knows: YOU DON’T SHOW THE BALL TO ANYBODY THAT HAS PREVIOUSLY PLAYED FOR COACH K.
