Nash Out…
…of the All-Star game.
The news broke a little while ago that Steve Nash won’t be taking part in this year’s All-Star Game because of his bum shoulder. Even worse, he won’t (gasp!) be in the Skills Challenge!
Two questions:
1) If the West loses the game, would it be more proof that he’s the MVP?
2) Any chance in the world that Zach Randolph replaces him? In VEGAS?!
(If no.2 comes true, I promise not complain about David Stern for at least three months.)

Tony Parker? No,ah i wish it was somone else maybe Deron, Kidd, or Chris Paul….I believe Kidd never came the next year after he won his last Skills chalenge… but the real question now is, who will win the Skills challange realistically between Wade, Kobe and Lebron? I want Kobe to win but if Chris Paul says Lebron can do anything he can…it could be a challange

Stats don’t tell the whole story with deron williams, or for most point guards for that matter. Deron runs the team beautifully, and hits clutch shots and his team is winning. I think he’s the most deserving guard to replace S. Nash. (it might have been a different story if CP wasn’t injured for a chunk of the season)

I said in the last post Baron Davis, but I believe he is injured as well so why don’t they put Monta out there. He is a straight killer and he will be on the cover of Slam real soon. deron on okur should replace him. you gotta have at least 1 utah player at the game since boozers out. speakin of the skills comp though, can we get one next year w/ all 6′10-7 footers? kg, dirk, odom, SHAQ (though he’s too fat/slow). it’d be more fun and u know some big men would wanna volunteer.

I agree with John Hollinger that Elton Brand is the most deserving guy—the West has SO MANY amazing power forwards. Who needs more guards anyway? And Jason Collins should definitely be Nash’s replacement in the Skills Challenge.
