Player of the D.A.Y. at the half

First of all last night’s winner is Ben Gordon. He gave the Bulls a lead that the Mavs couldn’t come back from. And when you beat the Mavs, that’s an accomplishment in itself these days.
This post is going to be about the numbers and not an unreadable summary, as opposed to yesterday’s unfortunate 12,000 word trainwreck. Going into the database, here is my official tally in the Monday through Friday race for Player of the D.A.Y. of the year.
This is the 56th post in the Player of the D.A.Y. category. It’s possible that I forgot to label one with the Player of the D.A.Y. tag, and it’s possible that someone happend to lose a vote for that reason. I bring this up because commenter Reggie Evans posted a running tally once that says Baron Davis has won 5 of these. I did my research and all I can find is a mention of him nearly getting that 5th award, but I never gave it to him. Either that or I’m being shady like the guy that runs the game clock at Cameron Indoor.

If Kobe was a little bit tech savvy and checked ou t the website he would try and get the player of D.A.Y. award to prove that he was better and he wouldn’t get it like he never got an MVP bitch.
