Player of the D.A.Y.

By Sam Rubenstein

Working from home today. It’s been a day of car inspections and doctor’s visits. We were both given a clean bill of health. Me and my car that is. Strangely, I sort of have a little flu/cold thing. Dizzy.

Player of the D.A.Y. goes to Deron Williams for his 21 points and 15 assists, running the Jerry Sloan playbook to perfection down the stretch. I really thought about Darrell Armstrong and his near triple double for a while there. It would be pretty funny if I gave this to Marcus Camby on the night of the Melo-Iverson reunion. But I’m sticking with Deron.
