Player of the D.A.Y.
And a birthday cake in the office.
First of all, a happy birthday to SLAM Art Director Stephen Goggi. Carvel is in the building. Have a nice relaxing day Steve-o. Unlike some other members of the art department here, Stephen doesn’t mind when I write about him on the internet or when I put his business in the street. Other people that work here are really sensitive about public humiliation. Anyways Stephen, get around to making that D.A.Y. trophy logo when you’ve recovered from the birthday party madness.
Last night the Mavs got 30+ from Dirk and Jason Terry, so they split the imaginary vote in my mind. We have our first repeat winner of the Player of the D.A.Y.
Baron Davis, going head to head with the future of the point guard position, Chris Paul, had himself a bawlgame. 36 and 9, with no J-Rich thanks to a suspect knee. Baron scored the key points at the end and put a stop the Hornets undefeated season. He’s not injured and he’s playing great. Keep it up Baron!

First!! Baron’s a beast when he’s healthy. I give him a couple more months tops before a back/knee/groin injury shelves him for the season.

Baron Davis would not be the best point gaurd in St Johns home for the handicapped. Steve Francis is bouncing back, isiah needs to trade the other 11 pg’s on the knicks roster and bring in some real players. Then we won’t need to fire him. But for the moment Fire Isiah!!!!!
