Welcome to the big city Jared Jeffries

A broken wrist. Of course. What took so long?

By Sam Rubenstein

The Appleman Curse strikes! Jared Jeffries has a broken wrist. Yesterday Jake called him sushi. Today, I say that Jared Jeffries is like Fugu. Expensive, delicate, and poisonous at times. As Knicks Clicks points out, this could put New York back in the Balkman business. Benchrenaldo’s phone lines are heating up.

Nice work Jake. You are like a fortune cookie.

Sorry dude. I guess I just don’t like defensively oriented guys that signed to metro area teams this year. You see what I did to Eddie House?

He played three years of rileyball in Miami, and if I remember correctly, was considered somewhat of a ballhawk/stopper. Naturally, going on a three team odyssey and then ending up in Phoenix probably did a good job of changing the current perception of said defensive orientation.

Umm, when did you guys place him on the cover? The reciprocal action on your curse just keeps getting faster huh?

Boing Dynasty says:
I didnt know slam had a cover curse, seeing as how theres mostly only elite level players(save for,Telfair 2 or 3 times) on the cover and thiers 12 covers a year, plus a kicks, punks, and slamups, plus the streetball issue, if there was a cover curse it would fuck up the leauge pretty bad
