Raja Bell is blogging his a$$ off. Or at least he’s telling his story to ESPN’s Sam Alipour. This is kind of like Paul Shirley’s column, but written by an actual NBA player. (I kid Paul. Please don’t mope and make self-depreciating overly self-critical remarks.) The ante is upped for online player diaries. I’m working on one for our website, and now I know I have to get this guy to talk for 20 minutes longer. Damn you Alipour!

HAHAHA Raja’s got a baby on the way, well looks like someone was able to “shoot it up that far”!!! “A Baby On The Way! No single offseason development — not my newfound marketing ability or even free tacos — outshines what transpired on the homefront. I’m pleased to announce that my wife is three months pregnant with our first child! I just saw the sonogram, which is basically an image of a two-inch long human with a head, arms, legs and what I think (and hope) is a nose! We’d been trying for about a year now, so I’m really too excited to express it in words.”
