As the second Chicago Bulls threepeat was winding down, Bulls management was weirdly obsessed with breaking up the dynasty. Would Phil be back? Would Scottie ever get his respect from Jerry Krause? Most importantly, would Mike retire again? Really, there was nothing going on in the NBA other than Michael Jordan putting the final touches on his legacy. So, this is the only story that matters about the only player that matters.
