Red Bull’s King of the Rock one-on-one tournament is one of the coolest events of the year. What makes the global tournament so unique is the fact that the final round of 64 is played in the middle of the Pacific Ocean at Alcatraz. Last year’s contest was the first sporting event held at the now defunct prison and the first time basketball had been played there since the last inmates were taken off the island 50 years ago.
