The King of the Rock returned to Alcatraz Island for its fourth year and once again, it did not disappoint. With the early elimination of two-time defending champ Hugh “Baby Shaq” Jones, contestants knew there would a changing of the guard this year at Red Bull’s one-on-one tournament in San Francisco. In honor of his nickname, 6-7, 235-pound Tarron Williams “beasted” through the competition with little problems. Despite cramping and a nasty spill in the semifinals against Santwon Latunde, “The Beast” managed to pull it together and defeat Sergio De La Fuente of Spain in the finals.
