Stephen Curry returned to his hometown of Charlotte on Dell Curry Night to take on the Hornets.
After honoring his father at halftime, the reigning MVP went off for 28 points in the third quarter and 40 points on the night.
It was the fifth time this season that Curry scored at least 20 in a quarter, and third time he scored at least 40 in three quarters.
