John Henson doesn’t jump very high, and unfortunately for him, Larry Nance Jr.’s hops are ridiculous.
The rookie’s monster finish punctuated the Los Angeles Lakers’ 113-95 win Tuesday night against the visiting Milwaukee Bucks.
Kobe Bryant chipped in a game-high 22 points, and D’Angelo Russell added 19 points and a career-best seven dimes.
Per the OC Register:
On Tuesday, (Byron) Scott’s critics were on the wrong side of those issues, as Bryant and Julius Randle and D’Angelo Russell – especially Russell – continued their runs of strong play. […] The result? A 113-95 over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Bryant has been tremendous in his last five games, shooting 47.8 percent from the field to boost his season average to 32.4 percent. Perhaps the biggest key for Bryant, he said, is that he is not feeling the same kind of strain he did earlier in the season, saying “my legs feel much better.” […] After a win over Detroit last month, Bryant lamented said he wasn’t looking forward to walking to his car.
It was a sentiment that resonated with Bucks coach Jason Kidd, one of only three players in NBA history to log more career minutes than Bryant. […] “People can laugh at that or take that lightly,” Kidd said Tuesday. “But when you put that type of time on your body, it starts to take time to walk to the car or to the bathroom. You take those things for granted.”
