He didn’t participate in shootaround because of a sprained ankle, but Jimmy Butler was able to put up a career-high 53 points in 49 minutes to lead the Bulls to a 115-111 overtime win on Thursday.
Butler got to the line 25 times (and made 21) and shot 15-30 from the field. It was the first time a Bull scored 50 points since Jamal Crawford did it in 2004.
