For the first time since returning from a bout with leukemia, Craig Sager got his chance to interview Gregg Popovich.

The two shared a moment before the game, and Pop said that this was the first time he’s been excited to do one of the “inane” interviews.

Sager wasn’t quite in prime form, finishing with, “Your team is shooting under 35 percent. Are you happy with the shot selection?” But it was a touching moment between two NBA lifers with great mutual respect.
