Seemingly taking inspiration from Stephen Curry’s 24-point opening quarter on Tuesday, CJ McCollum finished the first quarter of the Blazers’ season opener with 22 points after going a perfect 5-5 from three and 7-8 from the field.
McCollum finished with 37 points in Portland’s 112-94 victory over New Orleans.
