UCLA is back. Monday night, Kyle Anderson—Rivals’ No. 2 prospect from the Class of 2012 and the No. 3 player on our Fresh 50—made his long-awaited college choice, committing to the Bruins and Coach Ben Howland over Seton Hall, Georgetown, Florida and St. John’s. And while he may not have an eye-popping mixtape like Aquille Carr or Gabe York, he’s risen to the top of the ’12 ranks for a reason. He can play multiple positions, handle the rock, find the open man and shoot from range. Anderson is also tight with SLAM HS diarist Shabazz Muhammad, who still has UCLA among his potential list of collegiate destinations. Keep an eye on the Bruins next season.
