Sure, the USA Junior National team won handily over the World Select Team on Saturday night, 92-80. The USA was led by Austin Rivers (20 points), Anthony Davis (16, 10, 2 swats), Mike Gilchrist (16 points, 5 boards, 5 blocks), and Quinn Cook (12 points, 3 assists). But the big story was Bismack Biyombo of Congo. The 6-9, 240-pound power forward tallied 12 points, 11 rebounds and a record 10 blocks for the first triple-double in the game’s history. Biyombo was the clear standout on the World side, playing the beast in the paint and dunking on future lottery picks. The scary athletic Biyombo could be tantalizing teams come this summer’s Draft, as he’s still just 18. His triple-double boosted him to No. 7 in DraftExpress‘ Mock Draft.
