Yesterday, 60 players fulfilled their dream of getting drafted to the NBA. James Ennis was one of them, but his journey is just getting started. Drafted by the Hawks with the 50th pick, Ennis was immediately traded to the Heat. He’ll suit up next month for summer league and then will have an opportunity in training camp to earn a chance to play with the Big Three.
UNDRAFTED will follow the journey of six players who began their quest at the historic Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT), whose alumni include: Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Dave Cowens, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, Tim Hardaway, Derek Fisher and Jeremy Lin. The series kicks continues with the newest member of the Miami Heat, Ennis, from Long Beach State.
