Texas freshman big man Myles Turner is headed to the NBA, making the announcement today via his own YouTube video, which you can watch above.
Turner, who ranks No. 7 in our latest NBA Draft Index update, was at one point the second-best prospect in the Class of 2014. Myles kept our Jordan Brand Classic diary last year, so you already know we’ll be rooting for the 6-11, 240-pound Houston native at the next level.
In his one season at Texas, Turner averaged 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds for a Longhorns team that lost a first-round matchup with Butler in the NCAA Tournament.
