The Warriors are off to the Finals for the first time since 1975 (13 years before Steph Curry was born).
The team’s star that season was Rick Barry, who averaged over 30 points per game to go with 6 boards and 6 assists. The three-point line wasn’t around at the time, but Barry could still score from anywhere on the floor. He was also a lights-out free throw shooter despite (because of?) tossing his freebies in underhand.
He lit up the Bullets in Game 3 of that ’75 Finals, which you can check out above.
