The legend of Matthew Dellavedova hardly began this summer. He was good enough as a rookie to be labeled a premier defender by Bradley Beal a year ago, and, before that, played four strong years at St. Mary’s. He averaged nearly 16, 6 and 4 in college, and, naturally, hit half-court buzzer-beaters for the win.
