We hopped on a Zoom call with the Cooper family (Omar Sr, Te’a, Sharife and Omar Jr) to commemorate Father’s Day.

The Atlanta-based family reminisced on their journey together—which has led to Te’a being drafted into the WNBA, Sharife ready to star at Auburn, Omar Jr up next at the prep level, and Omar Sr making ambitious moves in business.

The family spoke about the lessons that Omar Sr tried to instill in them growing up and how that has helped them achieve success today. It wasn’t always easy growing up in the Cooper household, but that was part of Omar Sr’s plan.
