Signed to a 10-day contract on Saturday, Ray McCallum made his Grizzlies debut by scoring 13 points while adding four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. With Mario Chalmers and Mike Conley each out of commission, McCallum — who played in 113 games over two seasons with the Kings — could play a prominent role through the rest of the season.
Also vying for playing time at point guard will be Briante Weber; a recent D-League signing who played 40 minutes in his NBA debut on Friday.
