If you’ve been paying any attention to prep basketball, you’ve heard of Marcus Lovett Jr and Aaron Holiday. The top sophomores squared off Wednesday night in a highly anticipated matchup. LoVett dropped 47 points, more than half his team’s total, while Holiday finished with 40 after fouling out with three minutes left in the fourth. Holiday’s team secured the win, though, surviving Lovett’s 16-point fourth quarter to earn a 91-86 OT victory. Be prepared to hear a lot more about these players in the future.
