With the score knotted at 98-98 with under a minute to play, Stephen Curry blew past Kyrie Irving for an open drive to the basket. Irving recovered to block Curry’s potential game-winning layup with a flying swat from behind.
It wasn’t the first time Kyrie denied Curry in Game 1. Irving also swatted the MVP’s shot with authority in the first quarter.

The game went on to overtime, where Kyrie appeared to aggravate his left knee injury.
