Bouncing back from having scored just five points in two of the team’s last three games, Kevin Love poured in a season-high 32 points Sunday against the visiting Los Angeles Lakers.
Love hit seven three-pointers, grabbed 10 boards, and led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 120-105 victory.

The Cavaliers had won 12 of their last 13 in that span and at the conclusion of Sunday’s contest, Head Coach David Blatt divulged his distaste for the media’s questioning of Love’s role.
“You people like to talk about a lot of the things that are in my mind, less important,” Blatt said to the congregation. “We win 12 games in a row and everybody is talking about Kev’s five-point game. I mean really, who gives a damn? What’s important is that the team is winning and Kevin knows that and that’s what’s important.”
Love drained seven of his eight threes taken and he mixed it up inside for some easy buckets. Love reiterated that he prefers to play inside-out. […] “That’s the way I’ve always played,” Love said. “Sometimes just to get an easy touch shot or get to the free throw line is how I’ve played my entire life. But if a look is there from three, I’m going to shoot. It definitely does change the game when I start inside, yes.”
