Before AI came into the picture, the nastiest crossover everyone had to look out for was that of Timmy Hardaway. Didn’t matter how many times a player saw it, didn’t matter if the defender knew it was about to happen… if Tim Hardaway wanted to cross you up, there was no escaping it. Listed generously at 6 feet, his quick hands, amazing ball handling, and ability to create space made him a killer on the hardwood. He was drafted out of Texas-El Paso by the Warriors with the 14th pick in the ’89 Draft and played 6 seasons in Golden State before being traded to Miami and pairing up with Alonzo Mourning. Timmy became an MVP candidate in Miami and along with Zo, led the Heat to 4 straight Division titles. Over his 13-year career he averaged 17.7 pts, 8.2 asts, and 1.6 stls. Hardaway is a 5x All-Star and was named to the All-NBA First team in 1997.
