Dallas Mavericks superstar forward Dirk Nowitzki continues to make history — Dirk became the NBA’s 15th all-time leading scorer by passing Reggie Miller last night. Per the Star-Telegram: “Yeah, that’s not bad,’ Nowitzki said after scoring 35 points in the Mavs’ wild 123-120 win over Houston. ‘Obviously I didn’t think when I got here that 15 or 16 years later that I would be the top 15 scorer of all time. So it’s great, it’s been a great night, but I’m really more happy about the win to be honest. It means more to me than any other records.’ Nowitzki now has 25,298 career points. Next in front of him is Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett (25,340) and then former forward Alex English (25,613).”
