The Grizzlies’ season came to an end on Sunday with a sweep at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs. Memphis was riddled by injuries (and trades) this season, but continued to fight all the way through, and head coach Dave Joerger was emotional in thanking his team after Sunday’s loss.
“I can’t tell you enough of how proud I am of every guy that’s in that locker room and has come through that locker room,” Joerger said, with tears in his eyes. “This season’s been hard. It’s been really hard.” Peep the video above.
