After learning of the FIBA ban on headgear right as she wanted to go pro, Massachusetts’ scoring record holder Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir had to figure out what to do. Her two loves of Islam and basketball never conflicted before—neither when she was a top high school player from Springfield nor during her collegiate run at Memphis and Indiana State.
