That’s all she wrote, folks.
Ten days, 60 games, rookies, sophomores, opportunities of a lifetime and a surplus of highlights. The lively, at-capacity, sometimes frenetic Las Vegas Summer League has come to an end.
The short list of Sin City’s most impressive players starts with co-MVPs Josh Selby and Damian Lillard, but it certainly doesn’t end there. Tobias Harris, Bradley Beal, John Henson, Malcolm Thomas, Donatas Motiejunas, Jeremy Lamb, Harrison Barnes, Kemba Walker, Klay Thompson, Kenneth Faried, Jimmy Butler; the list goes on. Countless players—drafted, undrafted, known, unknown—left a resonating impact in Vegas.
Both Orlando and Vegas gave us a solid look at the NBA’s brightest young, and developing, talent, and a bunch of highlights to go along with them. Above are the Top 40 plays from Vegas, featuring a plethora of vicious dunks, pin-point assists, insulting blocks, buzzer beaters and more. The premise of Summer League notwithstanding, most of these plays could rival any in-season highlights from the NBA’s elite. Great stuff, guys, and keep on pushing.
