A couple of weekends ago, Nike took a dozen of its top players from the brand’s prestigious Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) summer circuit to sunny Bahamas for an end-of-summer training camp-style trip that featured a game against the Bahamian National Select Team. The EYBL Select team won by a whopping difference of 60 points, 125-65, led by our high school diarist Jayson Tatum’s game-high 18 points. Gary Trent Jr. contributed 17 points, while Florida State commit Jonathan Isaac and top-ranked PF Harry Giles chipped in 16 each.
