As everyone strolled into work on Monday morning to put together their office bracket pool, Dove Men+Care and Turner Sports kicked off National Bracket Day in New York’s Times Square with the help of Adult Swim star Rob Corddry and cast members of truTV’s comedy series Friends of the People. A large-scale Instabracket button was on hand to help fans randomly make their bracket selections. There were also smaller instabracket machines for other fans needing some assistance with their picks, as well as tablets that featured Bleacher Report’s National Bracket Day Hub. Fans could also do their best impression of the classic March Madness shot-clock buzzer-beaters on a pop-up basketball court. Chicago and Los Angeles also held similar installations. Five of the many gigantic LED billboards that make up “The crossroads of the World” featured March Madness content, and for the next few days so will many of NYC’s double-decker tourist buses.
