When you’re putting together your Holiday wish list, don’t forget to add some Mitchell & Ness swag near the top. This year, you’ll have three new must-have options for fans of the Rockets, Blazers and Bulls. Scroll through the gallery above, which includes Dwight Howard, Damian Lillard, Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose modeling these three new throwback styles:
1993-94 Houston Rockets Hakeem Olajuwon Jersey
On June 22, 1994, Hakeem Olajuwon and the Rockets brought the Larry O’Brien trophy to the city of Houston for the first time. The Dream averaged 26.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.9 blocks in the seven-game series against the Eastern Conference Champion New York Knicks, and was named Finals MVP, for obvious reasons.
1983-84 Portland Trail Blazers Clyde Drexler Jersey
’83-84 was Clyde “The Glyde” Drexler’s first season in the NBA. Luckily, he made it to Portland in time to wear this beautiful red road jersey. The Blazers wore it for one more year after this before switching to the familiar, classic black road jersey.
1987-88 Chicago Bulls Shooting Shirt
The Chicago Bulls short sleeve shooting shirt. A thing of beauty. Nothing else needs to be said.
