The 30th annual Powerade Jam Fest, which annually hosts the skills competition (3-point and dunk contest) for the McDonald’s All-American festivities a couple of days before the prestigious game, will be held at the Chicago Theatre on March 28. The customized court on the main stage of the theater provides a unique set-up and atmosphere to what will become the first-ever basketball event in the 95-year history of the venue. The Jam Fest has typically been held at local high school and college gyms, and was held at the University of Chicago last year. The All-American games for both girls and boys will be held on March 30 at the United Center. Check out photos of the renderings above.
