Following a right shoulder separation, Chris Paul and the LA Clippers came away with the best possible news — CP3 won’t require surgery, but the superstar point guard won’t be hooping for up to six weeks. From the press release:
Paul has been diagnosed with a Grade 3 AC joint separation and will be out up to six weeks. No surgery is required for Paul, who suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Clippers win over Dallas on Jan. 3.
The six-time NBA All-Star has appeared in 34 games this season, averaging 19.6 points, a league-high 11.2 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game.
