Some of the big names who are expected to take part in LaMarcus Aldridge’s exhibition game this Sunday night have been announced. The Oregonian reports: “The University of Portland announced Monday that Aldridge will host a charity game Sunday at the Chiles Center, confirming the news the Trail Blazers’ forward announced on Twitter last week. According to a release from UP, the game will feature NBA players Kevin Durant, Josh Howard, Jamal Crawford and TJ Ford; Blazers Brandon Roy, Wesley Matthews and Raymond Felton; and former Blazers Steve Blake and Jeff Pendergraph. Tickets for the game, dubbed the Rip City Basketball Classic, will go on sale Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Chiles Center box office and online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets prices range from $100 for court side seats to $25 for upper level end zone bleacher seats, and proceeds will go to charity. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30, with doors opening at 6:30. ‘Portland has been my home for over five years and I really enjoy giving back to the community whenever I can,’ Aldridge said in the UP release. ‘The Rip City Basketball Classic allows me to support my favorite local causes, while also giving fans an exciting night of basketball.'”
