Derrick Rose, for those unaware, has been on a 10-day promotional tour of Europe to promote his adidas gear, which will set the table for his 12-day promotional tour of Asia in September. We got some pics of his tour stop in Belgrade, Serbia. Adidas has some words on what happened. We’ll let them tell you:
Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls visited Belgrade, Serbia where he met fans at an exclusive basketball event, judged a slam dunk contest, faced off with the winner of a three-point shooting contest and held a press conference with former Serbian-born NBA player Žarko Paspalj.
Inspired by the exciting and attacking on-court play and smooth, understated off-court style of Derrick Rose, fans attending the tours will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and have unique access to Derrick through a multitude of premium, exclusive events including basketball demonstrations and games, contests, in-store appearances, social media and more.
The tour continues through July 15 with stops in Zagreb, Croatia; London, England; Paris, France and Madrid, Spain. The Asia tour is September 4-16 and includes visits to Tokyo, Japan; Manila, Philippines and Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen and Hangzhou, China. The tour will culminate with a late September event in Chicago, where Derrick will connect with fans in his hometown before beginning the NBA season.
