Amidst the trade deadline, the Toronto Raptors reportedly agreed to trade Matt Thomas to Utah in exchange for a future second-round pick, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Thomas is a young, bright talent that began his career playing in the Spanish ACB league before becoming a free agent and finding a spot on the Raptors roster after the 2019 season. He is averaging 2.7 points this season while shooting 38.7 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from three.
