Raptors 102, Pacers 99 (Toronto leads series 3-2)
What a game, what a game. The Indiana Pacers looked like they had Game 5 in the bag, despite playing the road in Toronto’s territory. But the North wasn’t about to go out so easily, even having trailed by 17. The score was 90-77 at the start of the fourth, but T-Dot went on a 15-2 run and outscored Indy 25-9. This spectacular play by rookie Norman Powell tied it all up:
DeMar DeRozan finished with 34 points to lead the Raps, and Bismack Biyombo added a 10-point, 16-board double-double off the bench in the win. Paul George finished with 39 for the Pacers in the loss that puts his team down 3-2 in the series.
Hawks 110, Celtics 83 (Atlanta leads series 3-2)
After trailing by 10 at the beginning of the game, the Atlanta Hawks turned things around real quick. They hit bucket after bucket, pouring in the points. So much so, they ended up leading by 34 points and taking the 3-2 series lead. Mike Scott led the Hawks with 17 points off the bench, and Kent Bazemore and Jeff Teague added 16 points apiece in the pivotal Game 5 win at home.
